The Paragraph Tag

Often times after a title (heading) you have a paragraph of text. The <p></p> tag is used to define a paragraph.

As you might have guessed, to create a paragraph you simply write some text between the opening and closing tag.

<p> I love HTML! </p>
<p> It's Exciting! </p>

The paragraph tag clears a line above and below any text placed between them.

You’ll find yourself using both the heading and paragraph tags quite often. This is one such example of using both:

<h3> Self Confidence </h3>
<p> Did you know that self confident people are more likely to succeed? Yes !, it's true. People who are confident are less
likely to give up when they encounter obstacles. They seek solutions to problems they encounter and are often motivated
to accomplish a goal. Whatever challenges you're facing right now (like learning HTML and CSS *smirk*), be open to it.
Don't quit. Believe in yourself and get it done. </p>

The Result:
